Using a series of body, breath, and awareness techniques, intention setting and visualizations, this profoundly restorative guided meditation takes the practitioner to the state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, assisting in quieting the mind and unwinding the nervous system.

Yoga nidra is traditionally experienced while lying down in a comfortable position in order to promote rest and regeneration of the physical, energetic, mental and emotional bodies. It is not uncommon for insights and creative ideas to emerge from this practice!

Laura brings decades of experience as a professional musician to her classes, incorporating a variety of instruments including vocals, guitar, harmonium, hand pan and other meditative soundscapes. In 2017 she completed a 100hr Yoga Nidra Teacher Certification with Kamini Desai and John Vosler, and since then has done immersions with Karen Brody and Uma Dinsmore-Tuli.
